New Patient Intake & Informed Consent

One of the most powerful learning and growing experiences that I have had in my eighty-one years of living was gained in a 2014 workshop at Esalen. Its week-long theme of “embodying the intelligence of heart and soul” was graced by the presence of JoAnn as one of its leaders. Her warmth, joy and skills could easily be sensed as she facilitated a variety of active approaches. Her lively interest in helping participants to move through inner, bodily restrictions toward a greater grasp of energy and awareness represents one of her most obvious gifts as a person and therapist. My dance with Life will forever be affected by the music of her talents and care.
