Welcome! I am a somatic practitioner who has been in private practice since 1999. The work I do is called Core Energetics; it is a powerful direct method for awakening the inhibited flow of conscious life-energy, enabling clients to create a whole new level of contact with themselves, and with others—intimately and relationally. Clients find their way to me when they are ready to break through old, destructive patterns, or ready for a more embodied and integrated expression of their creativity and spiritual life. My bodily presence with its innate and trained intelligence is my instrument. If you bring yourself sincerely to do deep work with me, I will help you discover how you, and only you, can naturally become the source of your own healing, transformation, and awakening.

My work is an expression of my deepest realization: an uncompromising devotion to embodiment. Over the decades, I have come to a deep understanding of how obstructions to embodiment can limit our ability to show up in our everyday lives with full awareness, presence, and feeling. Embodiment is the practice by which we integrate all aspects of ourselves, give expression to our spirit, and ground ourselves firmly to the earth and to this life. Each of us is our own wellspring of living energy. When this energy is allowed to flow freely through the whole body and to engage in an exchange with the energy around us we become grounded and present, deeply enriching and transforming the quality of our contact with ourselves and others.

For many years I’ve walked my own path, looking for the fulfillment and connectedness I had never fully experienced. The process of awakening into embodiment is a path that almost always runs through stretches of unknown territory. And walking the unknown path can be quite daunting. An experienced guide can help you avoid getting sidetracked, as well as ease some of the fear and uncertainty. I have since had the honor to intimately accompany many remarkable people as they crossed through intense highs and lows. I can be with you exactly where you are, and resonate with your pain, hope, fear, yearning, and divine nature. As a guide, I will support and deeply hold you throughout your journey, and remain present with you on all levels of being. I’ve discovered that I can help a wide range of diverse individuals face, understand, and overcome the internal obstructions that are preventing them from living their fullest, most joyful lives.

I weave Core Energetics, Body Mind Psychotherapy, and other psychosomatic approaches with my spiritual awakening, deep human compassion and lust for life. I cherish the relationships I develop with my clients. What allows me to create the safe environment needed for such deep exploratory work is my sincere respect, empathy and profound acceptance of them, and of our heartbreaking, gorgeous, vulnerable, embodied human condition.

In My Practice
My practice remains true to the fundamental tenets of Core Energetics. My unique contribution is expressed in how I am able to be present to the deep, tender connections we have to ourselves, others, our environment and our soul’s journey.

The work is to allow the uninhibited flow of energy within all parts and aspects of the bodymind and between ourselves and the environment. Sequencing through the core allows us to balance our internal perceptions and needs with the external world. From that flow, our essence can become a felt sense of self, to be seen and shared.

In the process of developing our psychophysical structure, we often lose contact with our ability to allow sensation to move. Our defenses disallow the bodymind integration and relegates the body to the role of automaton.

Before we can fully connect with the world, we must fully connect with ourselves at our most basic level, our bodies. Working with our different psychophysical systems through embodied practice not only brings consciousness to the body, and to the developmental blocks that have been holding us back, it awakens our own cellular intelligence and the powerful resources we already naturally possess.
